Putting at least the big four back on a traditional ppv model forces to WWE to actually try to put on a good show. There's no incentive now. You're already paying the $9.99 a month.

If you do that how many people drop the network? I bet it's not an insignificant number.....now if WWE was consistently putting out top quality highly reviewed content outside of NXT then it could be a good move.....Im just not sure they will get the results they want right now.

Network numbers are already down with NXT moving to USA. Currently they're about 1.4 million subscribers worldwide, that's $14 million a month. Let's say RR, WM, and SS can draw around 500,000 buys at $70. That's $35 million each. They are losing money on the big ppvs. Under the old model the cable providers would take their cut and then pay WWE but that took several months. The network gives them complete control. Maybe they can make a better deal with ESPN+. The television business has changed a lot in the last few years.
