I don't think Christians are entitled to anyone's resources. I do think that Christians should have equal access to public spaces to share their message. And no, I'm not saying religious symbols alone do that.
You should be able (at your expense) to erect a cross. I agree, alongside a comparable statue of the Buddha and a mosaic of Shiva.
You should be able to place a creche at Christmas. I agree, so long as the Hanukkah menorah burns beside it and it is preceded by a Lughnasadh display.
Are we on the same page?

My issue isn't that other faiths are represented in public but that there is a thought that religion should be excluded from public places altogether.
