We currently don't have the capability to counter a recession. How much can the US borrow to stimulate the economy out of a recession? How low can the Fed drop the rate from where it currently is to stimulate investment?

You are correct here. We can’t borrow any more and with rates already this low, lowering them won’t help.

Now you’re just being insulting. The plans have always been to cut spending while so cutting taxes. The taxes part happened and ironically taxes back into the treasury have never been higher.
Both establishment republicans and democrats fought the spending cuts and that’s why we are in trouble.
You keep saying we won’t recover from a recession, and I agree it will be very hard, but my question is what bubble are you seeing that economists aren’t?
And so far trump has been remarkably restrained in terms of military foreign policy. He’s actually done less than the previous president
