Former #1 pick (1975) Steve Bartkowski has give Joe advice:

Bartkowski told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram he advised Joe Burrow to refuse to play for the Cincinnati Bengals if (when) they select him first overall in the upcoming NFL Draft in April.
....
Bartkowski was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the first overall pick in the 1975 NFL Draft. The Falcons were an absolute dumpster fire during his tenure there, posting a winning record just three times in the decade he played there. Bartkowski views the current Bengals as being in a similar situation to the one he entered with the Falcons in the 1970s.
“It’s not the best organization,” he said about the Bengals. “You know, times change, things change. Atlanta wasn’t a good organization until Arthur Blank bought the team. It was a terrible organization. They didn’t know the right hand from the left to be honest.
“I know what it’s like to go to a bottom-feeder team. I’d hate to see that happen to him to be honest. They beat me up. I spent more time at the hospital recuperating from injuries my first three years than I did throwing touchdowns. It was tough.”

Since when has Steve Bartkowski become a financial advisor?
Give me a break. Anyone can say don't play, but they are not in Joe Burrow's shoes.
