Family history of high bp. I also have heart disease. I take ( among other things) Toprol XL 200 mg daily, and Cozaar 50 mg daily.

I'm on Lisinoprol now.
Last year I was on something and I couldn't get an erection no matter what plus it made me sick as crap. Constantly throwing up and nauseous. Haven't had any of those issues with Lisinoprol.

Lisinopril goes up to 40mg baw. Also lay off the salt and caffeine

There are a lot of OTC medicines that can side effect BP meds. Advil can stop Valsartan from working to it's full extent-- so I presume most are the same?
Ask for Metoprolol.
