I'll ask again, what should the answer to the buzzer question have been?

They should have answered, "We did not wear buzzers, and that is a crazy allegation"
Good?

Nope cause y'all would just be on here calling them liars. They said the appropriate response. Y'all just want blood.

And if something comes out down the road showing they absolutely did wear the buzzers, then what?

You're really contradicting yourself here:

By not saying it didn't happen, if evidence surfaces to show it did happen they don't come off as liars
You already answered your own question right here. This is why they gave that answer. Those are your own words, so why are you so confused and wondering why they answered the way they did as opposed to saying point blank they did not do it?

Oh you mean like this?

quote:

Altuve said, “I didn’t wear a buzzer. The (apology) that I made today was about 2017. All the buzzer stuff started on a fake Twitter account. That makes me a little sad that a fake Twitter account had that much credibility. I feel bad for 2017 but I did not do the buzzer thing. Nobody on this team wore a buzzer.”

quote:

Shortstop Carlos Correa had Altuve’s buzzer back.
“That’s a lie,” he told reporters. “Nobody wore buzzers. Nobody wore devices. That story should be killed already. We know for sure, for a fact, 100 percent, as a team … If I’m lying here, I’ll lose credibility if something like that comes out and that’s not what I want to do. I want to speak the truth. It’s just straight-up false. Nobody wore anything. In 2018, nothing. 2019, nothing. 2017, nobody wore devices either.”

quote:

When Astros ace Justin Verlander was asked specifically about wearable devices and buzzers and if he had ever seen that happening on the Astros, the two-time Cy Young winner was adamant, saying, “Absolutely not. I’m in that locker room. I see these guys after a game, before a game, dressing and undressing and I never saw anything like that.”

quote:

@darrenrovell

Altuve today on buzzer allegations: “That’s ridiculous.” Bregman: “Stupid.”
