Why won’t you name those discussions specifically?
I don’t know how soon, but you can bank on Congress and/or SCOTUS dealing with trans athletes within the next couple years. It’s a hot issue.

Wait, what is transgenderism again?

She is 9 years old!!!!!! 9!!!!
She isn't even in middle school, and these fricktards for parents are letting her make life-altering decisions. She's a girl, and will never be anything but a girl no matter how many drugs she takes or surgeries she has.
The state needs to step in and put a stop to this nonsense.
It is one thing for a child to ruin his life when he's old enough to live on his own, but there is no reason any parent should allow/condone/promote that child's ruin at any age, much less 9.
She's 9!!!!

Proposed legislation is not relevant unless it actually purports to enact policies that lead to a tangible result impacting those under the authority of that legislation. Once again, a group of people merely saying something is important DOES NOT make it important.

I’ll take that bet. Congress will do absolutely nothing on this issue.

We probably should be talking about trans issues even more so people wouldn’t be so uppity about it.
At the heart of "trans issues" is a core of mental illness... thats the actual issue. I agree people shouldn't get uppity about their own solid mental health and deride their sad mental condition, I think we should support them no matter how pitiful their "reality" is.
Sad.

Unisex bathrooms will never be a relevant issue to those with any intelligence whatsoever. What any segment of the population “feels” is not important.

However you want to see it, but the reason it’s going to be on tv is the same as the reason you’re talking about it right now: it’s a relevant issue that will involve representatives of the people making decisions that have yet to be made.

I don’t have a problem with your interpretation of ‘issue’
It’s your definition of “relevant” that I hold a fundamental problem with

Sporting events have been rescheduled because of this. Women are losing at sports and getting hurt because of this. People disagree over who should use what bathrooms.
It’s a relevant issue, so it’s on tv. If you don’t think it’s relevant, it’s because you are wrong.

As long as it’s clear that ‘relevant’ has an objective definition which does not include “what twitter and the media says is important”, then we are in total agreement.

Hahaha, no. It’s on TV because TV producers are located in geographical locations where an atypically large portion of the population values such conversations.
