look, people will tell you youre just a dumb dumb, but i felt this movie was a miss too.
the manson stuff was just so in the background and disjointed from the rest of the movie that it never really connected for me either.
i enjoyed good chunks of it, but its def pretty low on my tarantino tier list.

It may be the worst QT movie I’ve ever seen. And that’s not a bad thing really. A bad QT movie is still a solid movie. It just missed with me, almost completely. It was, for lack of a better word, boring. And the end didn’t make up for the rest of the movie for me. I hated the whole “fairy tale/alternate ending” angle for the Tate musters.
The most interesting part for me was when Pitt went to the old movie ranch. And that was painfully slow. Normally QT builds tension in a great way and his dialogue is awesome. Neither were true for this one.
Huge miss.
