Any QB that starts every game and leads his team to a 13-0 record with a state championship will be playing at the next level. Now that being said he had some STUDS on that team to help him.

3 all state defensive players including the 5A defensive player of the year and metro player of the year Kaufman who I know all of you know now after the way he was discussed on this board.

Rummel just had signing day the other day and 9 kids signed to play college ball. 6 on the defensive side. Not to mention he has a RB in the same grade as him who has division 1 offers all around the country, Logan Diggs for anyone interested.

So do I think he is division 1, mehhhhh. Maybe, but kid can play. Maybe a mid major or FCS program. Nicholls or Tulane maybe.

Not the Rummel I remember. Sure, they don’t recruit. We played them in 7 on 7 and they are very different from the teams I remember. No wonder Louisiana went to Select and non-select. Elephant in room no one talks about. No Wickersham isn’t PW5 right now but has potential because of size. He was RB at Christian Brothers when we played them.

Louisiana Tech offered him and would be a good team for him.

LSU is looked for a higher caliber of QB than Kyle at this point. He's good enough to play football somewhere, just not at LSU

Jeff Wickersham led us to an SEC Title in '86.

Jeff Wickersham was the first LSU QB to ever throw for over 5,000 yards. Also first one to ever throw for over 2,000 yards in 3 different seasons. Wick is 3rd on the all time career passing yards list behind only Hodson and Burrow. Pretty good company.

"Forgetting who his dad's OC was back then but he said that Wickersham had one of the best arms he had seen in 20 yrs of coaching. But he said he was one of the dumbest QB's he had ever coached. "We had to keep cutting back on the offense till we were down to 4-5 plays". FWIW"

I'm gonna call bullshite, No OC ever told you that.

During his three years as the quarterback for LSU's football team, Wickersham completed 58.4% of his passes for 6,921 yards, which at the time were both the 3rd best performances in Southeastern Conference (SEC) history.[2] Wickersham was also the first quarterback in LSU history to pass for over 5,000 career yards, the first LSU quarterback to throw for over 2,000 yards in three different seasons, the first LSU quarterback to throw for over 2,500 yards in a season (1983), and the first LSU quarterback to throw for over 350 yards in a game (368 yards vs, Mississippi State in 1983)

Only offers are Nicholls and UT Martin according to 247. LaTech is a pass heavy spread offense, nothing like what he runs at Rummel.
