oh for fricks sake. this was a huge land grab by obama who added every fricking blade of grass and pile of sand he could to our 'protected national monuments'.

frick off; sorry but the government cant have all the land out west.

PS the mining is under VERY strict environmental rules to boot.

you cant be serious. we have more than enough land for people and conservationist already. its time our country grew balls and fight against the middle eastern cartels. its a very small slice..

The residents of Southern Utah did not like Obama's overreach. I had a client hospital in the area and know several people who live near Blanding. What Obama did was hurting the locals - anyone from ranchers who lost grazable acreage to Indians who lost the ability to cut firewood to heat their homes through the winter.

My guess is the Trump admin is putting the boundaries back to where they were which is a good thing.
