Those are pretty good comparisons.

Ingram and Ball are like poor man’s versions of Durant and Kidd but there are many similarities. Kidd was a terrible shooter early in his career and ended up one of the most prolific three point shooters in league history.

Jrue is an interesting one. Prime Alvin Robertson maybe?

I don’t know where this came from or when people just started throwing it out there, but if you look at his numbers, he didn’t really go from awful to incredible. He had one great 3 year stretch, but other than that, he was mostly always a decent 3 point shooter.

His last year in college he was 36%. By his second and third years in the league he was already shooting at what would basically be average seasons for him.

Jrue’s best season in steals per game is this season. He’s averaging 1.7 this season

Alvin Robertson holds the record for career steals per game - at 2.7 per game. His best season was 3.7 steals per game

Robertson was a monster at disrupting. Jrue is a great defender but Alvin was next level impact. DPOY, 4x on All Defense teams, 4 time all star. Over only 12 seasons. One of only 4 players to have a quadruple double

Let’s not compare Jrue to him, that’s egregious
