it MIGHT not be deliberate, but for as much as libs like to toot the horn for acceptance, diversity, and societal 'wins', you have to admit its odd that this is not viewed as a landmark in our society (from the MSM)

I mean, I think him being gay is the reason he is where is he is right now, honestly. I mean what other Mayor of a city that size could be in his position? Gay has helped him to this point. It may be a hindrance in the general, though.
What's the difference in Pete and Walt Maddox? Walt probably would have a better chance of being elected President but he isn't gay.
