We did give Ingram a second contract, but it was 4 year 16 million deal. No one here will argue that Ingram's deal wasn't fair. There was never any talk of him being released form it, and the Saints got return on that deal. If Alvin can sign a fair deal then he will have life with this team.

Right now Spotrac calculated Kamara’s current market value at $15.5M/year. There's just no way this can happen.

If Alvin can replicate his sophomore effort, I don’t mind 10-12 mil a year more so because of the touchdowns. Problem is he’s coming off his least productive year. Thomas had a great 2018 year, got his contract, then followed up with a record setting year. That’s what you hope for if you’re a team & a fan.

I always loved Ingram and thought our horrible fans never gave him his due. With that being said ingram has never been what Kamara is. So, you can’t really compare their contracts. With that being said i would never pay a rb 15-16 million dollars. If it’s structured properly with lower guaranteed money and most of it in incentives then sure. It’s really all about how it’s structured.
