Not stupid at all. He’s being suspended for lack of discipline, not for smoking weed. The weed is the subject of the lack of discipline. Lack of discipline is why we see so many millennials out of touch with reality and also why the NFL is becoming a clown show. When you try and justify breaking rules because of your personal beliefs, you’ve set yourself and your team up for failure.

Weed should be treated like a beer as it is in more and more states each year.

Two things can be true at the same time. Our compliance department can be assholes for how harshly they delve out penalties for weed and our athletes can be morons for continuing to smoke weed while they know how harshly they will be dealt with if/when they’re caught.
However, we’re not even sure that it’s for weed. It could be for something completely different.

Oh well that’s just great. LSU ought to prohibit eating tomatoes too. It’s not the tomatoes, it’s the discipline!
