Lived there many years and I agree. Aside from Omaha having one of the top zoos in the country, and the world series....both of which are cheap to get into....there's not much. You get to experience all four seasons in a very distinct way. Traffic doesn't ever get backed up unless there's a major ice storm. Don't have to look at mobile homes around every corner. If you get out in the middle of Western Nebraska at night....you can see every star.
Great quality beef is abundant, you can enjoy a nice seafood dinner at red lobster, and other than that, just drink a lot.

This is wrong. I went to a Nebraska/Texas football game w a Husker alum, and we had 3 extra days there. Lincoln had a quality strip club, Omaha is awesome, casinos in Quad Ctities, Huskers know how to party.
