Custom Shooting Plugs

Anybody got them? I had a pair that crapped out last season. They were the custom fit ones and they lasted me almost 10 years but I guess if you only wear them during duck season they can make it that long. They were also probably light years less advanced than what is on the market now but still were about a grand.
I wore muffs this year and I hated them. Any recommendations? I don't mind spending a few dollars to get something good.

I ordered Decibullz off amazon and have been very happy with them. You mold them to your ear at home and choose the insert that fits your ear. I've been using them almost every weekend for about 2 years now and no signs of wear. For $25 they are hard to beat.
I see a lot of guys who have the custom molded electronic ones. You can go to an ear doctor and get them fitted to you. Depending on your insurance and doctor it may be covered under insurance. I've heard some people say it was covered and some say it wasn't.

ESP is some higher end stuff that has a good reputation. Entry level around $800 and goes up from there.

I bought wild ears over ESP at the recommendation of a couple friends. I have been very happy with them. I use them for both shotgun and rifle shooting. I’m able to blow a duck call, hear stuff I normally wouldn’t and save what hearing I have left. I have been very pleased.

No idea, but I'm all for progress in more people going this route.
I got serious when I almost failed a hearing test for a job.
left ear.
Nurse asked if I hunted and was right handed. Replied yes. Said she sees it all the time. When you lower your head to aim, the right ear gets somewhat protected, but the left is open to all the damage.
Big eye opener for me and something I'll def. I still in my son when he starts shooting.
Once you lose hearing you aren't getting it back.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I should have been more specific in my request. I am looking for custom digitals. WildEars look like exactly what I want. Sounds as if you give them a solid thumbs up?

Absolutely I’ll even go two thumbs up! Had them for two years now.
