#verdictTed Cruz asks us to tweet him your questions to ask by using the hash tag #verdict in the tweet.
My question that I sent is:
"Shouldn't the four Democrat U.S. Senators that are competing to run against President Trump in the 2020 election recuse themselves for their obvious conflict of interest?"

This is a genuine valid question. While not a true “trial” they would never be allowed on the jury. BUT again, nor would any of the hearsay BS be allowed either.
Should be asked

Their votes, would in fact be furthering their personal political agenda
Some would call that abuse of power

I would add to that question, "and shouldn't they also be placed under a gag order from giving their opinions about the outcome before the trial is finished?" Elizabeth Warren is already screaming to the world on Twitter that Trump is guilty.
She's an impartial juror. Obviously.

Please tell us when, where, how, and by whom was Joe Biden's corruption in the Ukraine "debunked"?
I'll hang up and listen.

"Why didn't the House release the transcript of their witness IG Michael Atkinson? Why did they release the transcript for the other 17 witnesses, but not his?"

Not just the four running for president but anyone that also received a campaign donation from Hunter Biden.

It appears that WH working with Senators is a bigger conflict of interest......
The person on trial can't work with the jury foreman (McConnell)

How long will we stand idely by and let liberals fleece us and blame Trump for the exact things they did. Its ridiculous.
1. Work with foreign government to influence an election.
Accuse Trump of working with Russia to influence an election
2. Democratic VP and current presidential front-runner withholds aid to Ukraine government in order to have investigation into son terminated
Accuse Trump of withholding aid for political gain
Can half the country actually not see this?

Valid point. I can see the analogy.
Don’t agree that it’s bigger. But, still understand the argument

quote:Legit, but I would rather ask it this way:
"Why didn't the House release the transcript of their witness IG Michael Atkinson? Why did they release the transcript for the other 17 witnesses, but not his?"
"The Senate requests the release of the IG Michael Atkinson interview. Will the House Managers comply with this request?"

quote:Actually, is somewhat valid, except that the whistleblower worked directly with House Manager Schiff, so in the interest of fairness, this exception is made.

It has been pointed out numerous times that criminal trial procedures don't apply to a political process.
Just sayin'
