SOMETHING I THINK MAYBE EVERYONE MISSED:
On 247Sports' announcement of Alex Adams' commitment-
"Add another four-star to LSU's recruiting class.
On Sunday, Mississippi wide receiver Alex Adams shut down his recruiting process and committed to head coach Ed Orgeron and wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph, giving the Tigers a third receiver in the 2020 class. Adams joins Kayshon Boutte and Koy Moore as the trio of wideouts the Tigers have added this cycle."
maybe they accidentally let it slip that they're bumping him up to 4-Star for the final rankings?

247 has him as a 4* in their own ratings. He's a 3* on composite.
