Yep. I felt like some kind of idiot trying to put her into the car seat correctly since I didn't want to do something wrong. I had also never changed a diaper before that day either.

As others have probably mentioned, love your child and wife unconditionally and help out all that you can. I was lucky enough that my wife let me sleep in another bedroom for the few few weeks. I would sometimes take a shift feeding at night so the wife could get a little extra sleep though.

Oh and my kids all slept in this bed in their room from day one. I love my kids but wasn’t going to roll over on them. Also my husband is a super light sleeper so he would never have slept.
