This. He’s not an overly smart man but he also asks questions and let’s his guests expand. Long format interview is way more interesting than Jimmy Fallon laughing at his own jokes for 8 minutes.

True, but when Joe pops in the conversation and adds some free-spooled bullshite factoid about bears or space or Indians, it is a turd in the punch bowl.

Yeah, I don't think Rogan claims to be much besides a guy who tries to prepare for his show and talk naturally to his guests. I think for a guy that has millions of listeners he's pretty fair to all his guests as well.

Climbed to the top of the stand up heap. Was an early adopter of the podcast and built one of, if not the largest, podcast out there. The man is a multi-millionaire and doesn’t have to answer to anyone...he’s more free than any poster on this board and has more of a social, cultural impact than any here could hope to achieve 1/1,000,000th of...yet, some have the audacity to claim he’s not “overtly smart”.
