The only thing I took from this thread is that we were all fricking retarded.
Korkstand was a voice of reason around Pg 740 or so.

I think there had been roughly 100 deaths in the US at the time. I didn't think we would approach 50k total.
I still feel like I'm reasonable. I don't think the government should mandate anything. I encourage personal responsibility, and it's a shame how much pushback I get for that on this site.
But yeah, I view this differently than I did at the very beginning. New information usually influences my opinions. Seems reasonable to me.
