You go to the grocery store and some foods are marked as having cancer-causing ingredients. People ignore these signs. They're useless. If the signs were more specific (e.g., warn pregnant women about fish that tend to have higher mercury levels), then maybe people would pay attention.

I just bought a car. The big side-window sticker said it has cancer-causing materials. But without specific information on how to avoid exposure, it's useless and desensitizes everyone to the warning.

Yeah California has some roll-your-eyes dumb stuff like this, but no it's not going down the tubes. Cali is doing just fine despite the dumb stuff.

Except that it is hemorrhaging tax paying residents due to these loony policies and state taxes.
