Best/favorite current Iphone models

I've got a XS and it's a lemon. It's on the 3rd screen, face ID just stopped working, it's insanely expensive to fix and I miss the home button. Are the new 11's more durable? If not, I'm thinking of dropping back to an 8.

I bought a XR the week it came out and I haven’t had any issues. I didn’t love Face ID over Touch ID when I first started using it now I can’t go back to Touch ID. I wouldn’t let a defective device make you go all the way back to the 8 series. Touch ID isn’t coming back so I would try another Face ID device because the one you have clearly is bad and not representative of iPhones in general.

The 11s are the most durable phones they’ve ever made. They are thicker and made of premium materials the whole way through.

Can't speak to the 11s but the Xr is the best Iphone I've ever owned (been an iPhone user since the 3s). Durable and best battery life by far. I would go Xr if I were gonna go backwards from an 11.
