Absolute yes on Portugal, probably a No on Morocco if I were you. It would be cool to expose your kids/family to that culture but it would probably be more stressful/annoying than it is worth...annoying street vendors and keeping an extra watchful eye on your kids would probably make it not worthwhile for me.
