I’m a Seahawks fan and liked him as a DB coach but the defense tailed off a little while he was DC. A lot of fans assumed he was fired bc Pete was making wholesale changes and he just got caught up in it, but it’s not like he set the world on fire.
Now, I love the way Seattle plays defense. And I also live in Dallas and the folks around here were big fans of him too.

Didn't the talent tail off a bit too during this time period? I don't follow the Seahawks very closely, but I thought around the time Quinn left was when they were having to make some hard decisions with regard to who to salary cap space and resigning players.
