Not true you don’t even realize there’s a 2 gapping 3-4 and one gapping 3-4. 2 Gap requires for bigger bodies all across to eat up blocks. One gap uses smaller pass rushing defensive ends like you mentioned. Also in the 4-3 there’s a Strong side end that can be in the 280-290 range. That’s how Saban ran it. Both of the ends do not have to be in the 260 range.

Cameron Jordan for the Saints is one of the leagues best defensive ends in the 4-3 and he’s 6-4 285 and opposite of him is Marcus Davenport who is 6’6 265. Like I said one strong side end and one more athletic. They do not have to be mingo size.

He ran it 17 years ago. Let me know how many teams ran the spread/rpos back then? How many true DT QBs played back then?

Cam Jordan is a freak. The only player we will have on this team that is maybe even comparable is J. Roy

I don't know why we are even arguing about this because most DCs run multiple fronts and we are in nickel and dime most of time
