Looking for a new place to ski. We have done Crested Butte the past 3 times and before the Breck a few times. Have done Vail as well.
Is Beaver worth the Lift ticket premium they charge?
Really looking for something that has nice slopeside hotels and a base area with a nightlife.

Then Copper is not your place.

Copper has zero nightlife. At least when I stayed there. Basically went to Brek or Frisco every night

Beaver Creek is much more laid back than Vail and slightly more high end. Smaller mountain than vail (obviously) but way less crowded. Love the Ski Valet.

I think you’ll find yourself going to Vail if you’re in BC. You’ll also go to Breck if you’re in copper. I could be wrong on BC though. Never stayed there. I’ve always stayed in Breck or Silverthorne and driven over.

Beaver is a great but smaller mountain. You can see most of it in a day if you start early. Been there several times. You will get bored after 2 days and end up skiing Vail. Not much nightlife at Beaver, if any.
Havent been to Copper in years, but a local friend isn't a fan.

Beaver Creek doesn't have any nightlife either. It is my favorite US place to ski though

Copper has added a ton of new terrain the past few years. Its catching up on size to Vail and Park City (the two biggest in terms of acreage in the US). It’s an awesome mountain to ski and has quite a bit for every level. However, like others have said, not much nightlife at all.
Beaver Creek is the country club of ski mountains. It was fabricated that way. The food/drink scene is top notch but the nightlife post dinner time does not compare to what Vail, Breck, or Park City offer.
If you’re looking for something new, easy to get to, and want the best of both worlds with great skiing AND nightlife I suggest Park City.

If you are looking for skiing next to a town, add Aspen, Steamboat, telluride, and Park City to your search.

Venture up and hit the powder in Steamboat
