There is no labor shortage... unfortunately there IS an unbalanced allocation of qualified individuals compared to available jobs across the US.

I own a small business. I speak with small to large business owners from one end of this country to the other. The common theme is that they can't find the people they need to do the work. One of my customers in Nevada specifically stated that they lost business because they couldn't hire the drivers they needed. The job market is as tight as I've ever seen it.

I say this often, we have a bunch of unemployed factory workers in Ohio and a bunch of plant openings in Louisiana.
It's easy enough to train the Ohio boys to work at the LA plant, but they don't want to move.
If you pay them enough, they will move.
