Although I appreciate Myles patiently awaiting his turn while learning, I want the very best player at each position. If King comes to LSU and is better than Myles, I want King to lead us.

Simple as that.

No! It's not as simple as that... How do you think potential recruits would look at it if LSU began the habit of plucking transfers from the portal every single year? We would never see Top Tier QB's commit to LSU to be able to develop and grow. ANd even still, it won't shock me one bit for Myles Brennan to tear that arse up next year. We do not need another transfer QB.

Unless MB gets hurt, he will be "the guy" in 2020.

My concern is the precedent it sets - I too want the best guy, but would rather top recruits see LSU as the place where we respect the 'next up' mentality, not just constantly looking outside the team to one-up the next guy. That being said, if King is the best guy and additive to the team/leadership, I'm all for exploring that route!
