Although I appreciate Myles patiently awaiting his turn while learning, I want the very best player at each position. If King comes to LSU and is better than Myles, I want King to lead us.

Simple as that

My concern is the precedent it sets - I too want the best guy, but would rather top recruits see LSU as the place where we respect the 'next up' mentality, not just constantly looking outside the team to one-up the next guy. That being said, if King is the best guy and additive to the team/leadership, I'm all for exploring that route!
Agree that it wasn't as fun/enjoyable as the Oklahoma game (where we spent the entire 2nd half in the club section at field level celebrating and talking about the season). But this was more enjoyable as a football game - that feeling of relief those 2nd and 3rd scores and being on edge until those final seconds, that's why we watch sports. Couldn't have asked for a better game myself!

Just depends on how you want to watch it there. If you want a table near a screen so you can sit, eat, drink, etc. then I would get there about an hour before the game starts. If you’re good with standing around then getting there whenever works. The place is huge so there is plenty of standing room if that’s your thing.

If you get there an hour before this game, I'd be shocked if you can find more than a place to stand. Unless the LSU fans just aren't showing up anymore.

First off, I LOVE LEGENDS - other than Tiger Stadium, there isn't a better place I've ever watched an LSU game. They play the game sounds, play the band music on offense/defense, LSU/Louisiana-oriented music during commercials, surrounded by LSU fans, etc.

As far as the LSU-Alabama game: The last several times I've been there for this game, if I wasn't there within an hour of opening, there was a line around the block to get in, and those were night games... I would seriously consider getting there at opening to be sure you have a seat and/or standing room.

Good memory - the bar nearly ran out of beer in 2012 (we were down to Guinness and Boddingtons)... thankfully, the Bud and Miller trucks showed up at halftime with refills.

Hope you have a great experience.
How much actual time was spent out there on the field, in particular in the first half.

Also note, those linemen were in there for two goalline stands, which are more draining on the legs when you're squatting an offensive lineman to keep them from getting any pressure, as opposed to open field, where there is latitude to try and move around them.
Keep them off the field for more than 2 minutes at a time. Felt like they were out there the entire game.
Why the downvotes? This seems like a pretty cool opportunity for students. People want the students more engaged, but yet they want to poo poo on things like this? I would have loved to have done something like this when I was a student.

Thank you Tiger Ree for sharing, I found it interesting.

I thought the winner of the NIT was the second best? Only two teams end the post-season with a win, so the NIT champ must be the second best!

You have to remember that there needs to be a somewhat nation wide interest in a program...

Seriously? Illinois and Minnesota football programs have each had a similar program done on their teams... Pretty sure no one really gives a hoot about Illinois or Minnesota football, but the shows were still pretty cool to see.

If I were you, I'd be inclined to burn those shoes... I'm only kind of joking.

But, I ordered two pairs, so I hope they don't have that kind of luck!
