Who has Clemson even played

Ohio State in the fiesta- no they were not elite
and I know the Buckeyes well and I feel very good about LSU winning against Clemson
Buckeyes played “2” quality teams this year, one in Penn St was undersized with a struggling Offense, the other Wisconsin- the perennial 9-3 team that can’t beat speed or dynamic play
Back to the Buckeyes- on offense, they started with one leg in a cement block because Fields could not run..take that away from him and he is mediocre
Dobbins gets hurt, and that killed the Buckeyes
They do not have a high powered Offense like LSU
Fields is inaccurate, his receivers are a step or two below LSU, without Fields legs and Dobbins hurt they were doomed..
So who has Clemson really played on Offense???
On Defense, Buckeyes held Clemson in check except the last 3 minutes of the 1st half
A screen to Etienne, that the Buckeyes blew coverage big time... Harrison missed a wide open tackle, Fuller got sucked in as usual, and Clemson did the rest blocking.
Next Lawrence run- where the Buckeyes went wide with the rush - Z.Harrison, Young on the corners, and Landers and Cornell inside going wide
M.Harrison at LB breaks wide, Browning in the middle had contain and broke wide
Single safety was Proctor , and Fuller was on the back
So everyone breaks wide leaves the middle wide open and deja vu last year with players out of gaps and there is a hole wide enough for me to run
Browning blows contain, M Harrison guesses wrong
Proctor gets his ankles broken by Lawrence juke, and Fuller over committed to Etienne and was out of the play
Jump ball play ...again M Harrison and Browning left their gaps broke assignments, Fuller ran right past the back and Proctor was way out of position on the other side.
3 plays where the Buckeye reverted back to last season 100th ranked defense, failed and lost the game
Buckeyes could not put consistent pressure on the defense, and OSU D played like crap with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter - undisciplined out of position ball...
LSU will
Not play that way on D, they will play their gaps
The Offense will motor
Clemson D cannot go tempo against LSU O because they play the same 11, so no subs
Clemson will commit to the “flop” when they can’t stop tempo
Bottomline, OSU doesn’t have LSU speed, athleticism, Smarts, and cohesion
So Clemson will be shocked by both the Offense and defense of LSU
LSU 48
Clemson 27

No point in reading anything after this. The rest of their schedule may have been Charmin soft. But, Ohio State is very much an elite team this season.

Look, it doesn't matter who Clemson has played. Everyone said this last year and then they obliterated a phenomenal 14-0 Bama team.
Clemson is a great team regardless of who they have played. And Ohio State obviously had a really good and talented team. Ohio State is always extremely talented. But this LSU team is phenomenal and we know who we have played and what we have. And I would take what I have seen out of LSU over any team.
