The show was good, not great. It seems like he’s trying to transition between smaller and bigger venues. Stage seemed way to big. He could use someone to tune up the production.
But his voice is phenomenal, and I really like his lyrics. Overall, I enjoyed the night.
Side note... Baton Rouge cotillion was also at the river center tonight. Their event let out same time as the concert. Bunch of teenagers running around in the parking garage. It was a shite show.
Never seen so many honkies in one place in my whole life.

Completely disagree last night. The guy is weaving two albums barely 90 days old into a set list that’s filled with meaningful music to a very loyal, highly cultivated fanbase.
He can’t ignore touring those albums. He can’t ignore a growing back catalog of music that has allowed him to become incredibly successful outside of the mainstream major label process. It’s a difficult process as an artist to balance those competing priorities. Especially when your fanbase is as rabid as his is.
I thought it was an outstanding concert. He connected with the audience really, really well. We had some great seats in the RCRC and Bowen was an awesome opener.
Re: your experience parking...WTF wouldn’t you just Uber so you could drink some whiskey while enjoying that show? Never saw a single whippersnapper though some folks brought youngins to the concert.
