Ours will sometimes "trap" clothes inside fitted sheets, but the flat ones do just fine so long as you shake them first before putting them into the dryer. But yeah.... when drying fitted sheets, sometimes you'll start to hear a whump whump whump which means all the clothes have gotten rolled up into a big ball inside the fitted sheet.

That's generally when my wife tells me I didn't put them into the dryer correctly. "You've to to shake everything out, put everything but the fitted sheet in there and then put the fitted sheet in."

Which I then respond to by saying... "Honey, do you know how to fold that fitted sheet so it goes on the shelf?"

"Just shut up, okay?"

I saw Martha Stewart show how to fold a fitted sheet so it'll fit back in it's package way back in college. Haven't forgotten. My wife usually either just puts them back on the bed or sort of rolls them up into something resembling a rolled up sleeping bag.
