I just explained it. The narrative from the Dems and the media is Trump is a mad man, Trump is irrational, Trump is gonna get us into WW3 with Iran. Last night was it, Iran was avenging their great General with a couple dozen missiles and omg, omg!! Trump is gonna respond, he’s gonna get us all killed. Only he didn’t respond. He didn’t launch missiles and air strikes on targets around Iran. He didn’t flatten cultural sites either. However, if he had, that downed airliner would have been a massive blow politically, even though the Iranians shot it out of the sky. That’s all I’m saying. His enemies were lined up last night waiting for the opportunity to paint him as reckless.

But if you're implying it was a ploy for public attention in the event we retaliated... I don't think so.
