I don't get why they want until after vote. Was status quo better for them?
I understand that some have ties to metro govt and probably a lot of Louisiana back scratching going on, but that would have existed before. Landry handled the city's annexation of mall of Louisiana and Siegan lane last time. Why wait til vote and then say you want certainty of being within city of Baton Rouge? It seems like while working for city he would have worked to get his business done at same time. It would have been a lot easier than the way city maneuvered around residential areas to get mall and Siegan retail area while walling off some properties that were not included.
