The stocky's stock with aluminum bedding block for $180
A good trigger job for $100

I did this in the past week.

I'm working on a sub-$600 all-weather build. I picked up an older 700 SPS in 30-06 for $250 recently. I ordered a Stocky's LRS Accublock factory 2nd for $99 and a Timney trigger for $112 this last week. I also picked up a Magpul DBM bottom metal for $76. The stock will probably need some barrel channel work and the bottom metal will need to be fitted correctly, but I'm excited about getting it all put together and to the range.
