They're great books to read on vacation, especially if you're in Florida history. Don't require too much brainpower, short chapters, conducive to being drunk ... I've read 12 or 15 of his books and enjoyed them all. They are more appealing if you have a sick sense of humor. I have friends who don't like Dorsey's books at all.

Just about to start his newest book.
