Betting lines are based on bets that come in, so in the end the same amount make money as lose money.
This is the exact scenario that doesn’t come true. If that line goes across 7, sharps are going to pound it attempting to middle their bets if they are on LSU right now. There are certain numbers that they don’t like to cross when moving lines.
