re: American's abroad in today's political climate...

My travels to Europe are mostly to Austria. Politics always come up on meeting someone for the 2nd or 3rd time, never on the 1st meeting. I try to read as much as I can about what is going on with the current Austrian government as well as their history.

I like discussing politics with those that I meet. Keep it cordial and enjoy a few drinks.
