I’ve never had wrist or forearm pain before. In the last 24 hours I’ve had consistent pain, especially when I open my hand or try to hold something, in the top of my forearm. It even hurts to the touch.

I did nothing out of the ordinary beyond doing yoga yesterday, which I do everyday. But it did start hurting more in evening after I did it—but nothing hurt during yoga. For this level of pain it seems like there would’ve been a memorable, painful tweak or something. In fact, didn’t even hurt after faceplanting the first two times I attempted crow pose.

Is this reminiscent of tendinitis? Carpel tunnel? Am I going to make it? Thanks.

Quit masturbating with your hand. Use a vibrator.

You’ll be fine. Rest your hand and arm.

Location is where you would feel tendinitis but the symptoms don’t add up to it imo. Usually it flares up during exercise and lasts a few hours, but my only experience is with milder elbow tendinitis.

I started taking 6g fish oil per day with 3g in AM and 3g in PM and haven’t had problems since.

You're going to make it, especially if you can pull off a crow pose -- I think if I ever tried that my wrists/elbows would hurt too.

Likely a forearm muscle strain that will subside with rest, but could also be the beginnings of tendon issues. If you're wanting to dig into tendonitis, the best site I've found is Overcoming Tendonitis. The author has posted a ton on Reddit, and has a book on this that just came out, but you can get a lot from this page. He covers everything from the traditional R.I.C.E. therapies to edgier stuff like peptide injections. If the pain doesn't go away on its own, trying the recommended stretches & eccentrics might help.
