What in the world is this segment with Evans and Deion Sanders?

Something strange is going on with this kid. It’s a shame ESPN feels like they have to be apologists for him.

Evans owned it on live television.
Kid deserves a chance as far as I’m concerned.

Deion had a good point: he was kicked off his HS team as well.
It came off genuine.
I’m going to get killed for this, but I still want him as a Tiger.

Evans sat with deion at his side and answered questions about the mistakes he’s made — State title game, etc.
Apologized for his frick ups and is ready to move forward
Good for Zach

Maybe Deion can help get him straight. Always pull for a young kid to turn themselves around. Of course, time will tell

Sorry, but I didn't buy one second of that apology. He is only apologizing because he knows he had to. Spoiled brat.

He really didn’t have to at all. Every team in the country would accept him in a heartbeat.

I saw it.
But what are his ‘frick ups’?

Got into physical confrontations with his coaches not once, but twice.
Didn’t play in the state title game because he didn’t want to give up his phone and got into it with coaches.

Evans said he wants to apologize to his College coaches meaning he already knows where he’s going, probably Georgia and he’s sorry he flunked the ACT or whatever

Dion Sanders trying to save the kids future! It was painfully obvious that he is a troubled kid that is looking for a second chance! JUCO bound.

Everyone remembers how the honey badger screwed up?...and then turned things around...
These players are really young...
Give it a rest

Unless he really couldn’t sign at UGA because of it. Very strange.

He didn’t answer anything, just kept repeating “I learned from my mistakes, I’m ready to compete”
