Whatever happened to ending birthright citizenship?

But the GDP is at an all time high, so I guess all is well as we slide closer towards a third world country.

how can a country slide closer to "third world" if its gdp is at all time high?

Maybe all the countries of Eastern Europe who survived communism. How did they do that if all that mattered was their economy. I can’t figure it out but it seems that something else besides just the economy makes the countries of Europe great.

These are all just typical excuses everyone makes for Trump.
Everyone know the dems would never play by the rules and would just ram through everything they want.
Trump can just do an executive order as he has talked about during all his rallies. But I guess he is all talk and never does what he says during his rallies.

An EO would be immediately challenged in court, an injunction filed until the SC took up the case and overturned it. I don't understand the thumbs down on my first post as the 14th Amendment to Constitution is pretty clear:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

I have news for you. You’ll be waiting forever. The republicans had complete control during Trumps first two years and did absolutely nothing because they planed on never doing anything to being with.
They’ve never cared about their voters but just keep rolling out the classic, at least I’m not a democrat and know all their voters will keep voting for them sadly.

It’s a Cold War term. The west was the first world, the communists and their allies the 2nd world, and third world countries were the non aligned states.

That will immediately be challenged in Federal Court and will ultimately be reviewed by SCOTUS. We're not ready to have that argument til we are sure of an originalist ruling. Roberts is compromised so we'll have to wait for RGB, Sotomeyer, or Breyer to step down.

Trump is probably gonna lose the election and you will never get this chance again.

Constitutional Amendments require a 2/3 vote in the Senate. We couldn't even get an unconstitutional law partially repealed.

The 14th is not “pretty clear.” It is crystal-clear.

You clearly do not understand how things work for the majority here. If there is law that they do not like or that is somehow contrary to their ideological delusions, they pretend that it does not exist.

My favorite delusion on this point is the assertion that “person” does not actually mean “person.”

How bout tweaking the 2nd amendment first, then we’ll take it from there. If your answer is “no”, you shouldn’t have a problem with others nixing your idea.
