I surely didn't. I was beating the drum that Mahomes was a top 10 talent his whole last year at Tech.

You also know how much I went to bat for Mahomes on the MSB & Saints Talk especially when it really looked like Payton was about to his QB for life after Brees despite all the negative talk about Mahomes being a "system QB".

As far as Herbert goes, I don't get the same feeling about Herbert. Mahomes was "breed" & groomed since a very early age to play professional sports. At young age, he understood the unseen intangibles it takes to be great as well as the hard work it takes behind the scenes. Herbert heart seems to be elsewhere. He's an intelligent kid with a strong future in medicine which has taken away some of down time to put in the work to be great. The flaws in his game can be directly pointed to trying to split time in attempt to be great both academically & athletically.

See my post I just made on Saints Talk about Herbert.
