Joe Burrow: So Sad he's Cincinnati Bound

That franchise is one continuous mess, owner Mike Brown is a cheapskate, and their facilities are some the worst in the league. I realize Ohio is home to Joe, but no way he's the saviour for that pathetic franchise.
The last time the Bengals picked first overall was in 2003, when they took Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Carson Palmer. He spent seven seasons in Cincinnati and made the Pro Bowl twice.

Ohio is home to two of the shittiest owners in all of North American sports with Mike Brown (Bengals) & Jimmy Haslam (Browns). Hopefully someone trades up with Cincinnati for the #1 spot to snag Burrow.

I agree. Just saying one guy can't turn around this franchise. Seems Mike Brown is also the Owner/GM like Jerry Jones, except he doesn't do the weekly press conferences like Jerry. He's about as great a GM as Jerry is though.

You do realize some players especially ultra competitive ones like Burrow, actually like to win & playing for a loser kills them on the inside?

Snyder for the Redskins says hello.

Archie made good money with the Saints, but never had a winning season. I am sure to this day he wishes he had played with a better team so he could have won 2 Superbowl titles like Peyton and Eli. Players want to win championships, it isn't just about the money.

Yes I do but a millions of dollars is a nice salve to help with that pain.

This. It makes it worse when the front office's are completely clueless. Poor upper management decisions at every turn trickle all the way to the field on Sundays.

Being from Ohio, he may leave that franchise to become Governor.

Grow up ... it’s a byproduct of his success. The y will build around him. It’s not like they haven’t been competitive Over the years. Not to mention it’s an underrated city and close to his hometown

It’s rare that QBs are hall of fame successful right out of college. It usually takes a couple of years for QBs to settle in. Hopefully in two years while Burrow makes his millions the Saints can in some way snag Burrow from the Bengals kind of like Sean snagged Brees from the Chargers. Burrow would excel in a partnership with Payton.
I can dream.

If that were the case with every professional athlete, no one would ever asked be traded out of toxic organizations & free agency would have never came about.

Remember when the Saints were in the same boat? The colts? Sure, he’s got an uphill battle. Things can change quickly in this league of the right people are put in place. I’m not a fan of there, but him bringing them their first super bowl win would be a heck of a story.

The have a Tyler Eifert, Joe Mixon, Geno Atkins, A.J. Green and John Ross.
They just drafted Jonah WillIms and he’ll be back healthy. They need to improve the oline and Joe will be fine

Makes zero difference. The NFL is a rigged league.
The competition is real but the outcomes of the games are predetermined. There is no way a Bengal or Browns Super Bowl will ever happen again.
Sorry. I know it pains people to read this about the league. But it’s true. It’s about money. Not true competition.

There's no way you know anything about the Cincinnati Bengals.

At first you're just happy to be making money other people can only dream of. But then you're set for life and you need something besides money to keep going tyrough the grind.
