LSU already up to 5 to 5.5 pt favotites in Vegas

Spread moved 2 to to 2.5 pts in one day from 3pts to 5 pts at Caesers....5.5 at some others

Yep. Very surprised it opened so low at -3.

Big money moved that line quickly.

Saw it at 6 earlier for a couple hrs but back to 5.5 now.

How much of that is a virtual home field advantage?

Playing in New Orleans is probably the biggest reason right now. I’m interested to see what the line does once the public gets a hold of it.

I think neutral field it's LSU -2 or so.

Bovada released it at -5(-110) at 23:28 just after OU dismantling. 10 minutes later -5.5(-110) at 23:38 and as of this response their line is -6.5(-105).
-2 is unlikely to return.

Big money moves the line first. It's why such an open to now.

Public betting isn't going to do much IMO. If anything it will add to the line backing LSU.

Typically 3 pts is given to the home team . Books have this game though with a distict advantage for LSU if some books are flirting with 6.5
