A brokered DNC convention

My theory is that this has always been the strategy of the major Democratic Power players. It’s interesting that the new rules of the DNC give superdelegates the last say in the case that no candidate gets the required majority, given the mess that the superdelegates caused for the Democrats in 2016. I think a lot of big Democratic donors have been pushing for as many people to get into the race as possible, in the hopes that they can stop Bernie again and pick someone like Biden in the end.

If it becomes a brokered convention, look for Hillary to step in and save the day.

I wonder if they would choose Hillary

If it’s a brokered convention and they install and establishment candidate, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the party split.

Possible brokered convention tickets
Bernie and Pocahontas
or
Hillary and Al Gore
or
Nancy and Chuck
or
Who you got?

The Bernie wing of the Democratic Party (not the neo-liberal Clinton wine aunts) are ripe for the picking for a real NATIONALIST candidate.
Stop with the Israel stuff, antagonizing Assad, Iran, etc. Stop playing games with immigration. Bring the troops home and close the damn border. NO MORE LEGAL THIRD WORLD IMMIGRATION. Spend the trillion dollars on infrastructure not wars for Israel.

I feel confident it will be likely be Biden/Castro

I just don't think even the democrats are that stupid. But, I have been surprised over and over since Trump took over.

imagine hillary clinton playing the role of the hero/savior
imagine the dnc appearing even more corrupt than it did in 2016

It's not over till it's over. Over and out.

All the more reason for Barr to have a couple of indictments in his vest pocket ready of the summer of 2020...

The problem is a lot of DNC money isn’t going to Biden. I can honestly see the super delegates wanting Warren.

I don't get Castro and the pass he's being given.
Both his parents are life long big C communist activists. That environment and rhetoric is what they grew up with. Why wouldn't that be an, at least interesting thing to look into?
More interesting than sending someone a 1000 miles away to keep an eye on a political opponent, go thru their trash cans and interview old schoolmates, or nah??

Supers used to have the only say.
Then 8 or 10 states voted.
Pushing supers to 2nd round is a good start.
Its unlikely anyone gets a majority so the elected officials and dnc will vote too. Not enough to win on their own.
Probably 3 rounds.

I don’t think this was their intention, but since it’s inevitable, they’ll embrace it as if doing it on purpose.

A Hillary nomination will split the Democratic Party....and the dems know it.
The Bernie supporters will never, never vote for her.
