Look we still signed a great class that could get better.
But you don’t process 4* in-state guys who want to be Tigers in hopes of getting 5* out-of-State question marks.

It's time to learn that lesson. 4* Louisiana guys are better than 5* out of state guys anyway.

I tend to agree....blood is thicker than water

Yep. Also birds in hands and bushes and such.
Wish those two would have waited a couple of hours; could be back in now.

I knew when this board said we were going to rack up this year it meant, we would have a better than average class for us. How you choose Maryland and South Carolina over LSU is beyond me.

This, I wouldn’t even care about getting spurned by guys like Rakim and Burch staying home, if we didn’t cut guys that had their recruiting shutdown and are Louisiana kids. No way in hell Burns and Lee shouldn’t be in this class. We also told out of state Donnell Harris to kick rocks as well when he was ready to be a Tiger.

Greed can blind a man. Lets hope he learns from this and moves forward.
All of these recruits talk and see each other multiple times per year via visits, camps, and social media. Don't think for a second they aren't telling each other what's going on
ETA: This will be now be negative recruiting point #1 by almost every major program in America when talking about LSU.

I agree if the staff indeed told them to look elsewhere. However, no one should jump off of cliff; just enjoy some more football by the Tigers coming soon.

It's not like these guys were borderline players too. I mean one signed with Florida and the other with UGA. Woof...

Why should they wait on us when we told them to take a hike?

I'll take loyal Louisiana kids all day long (provided they can play)

These two and Alec Bryant stand out. Wtf are we doing?
Posted on 12/18/19 at 1:45 pm to vince vega
Any way we could get them to do the whole Gunner Kiel to ND thing and somehow magically show up?

I love all the recruiting experts on this board now. None of you have any idea what this process actually entails. Such fairweather fans looking for anything to bitch about. This is a great class that will get even better.

Maybe they don't have the chest to compete?
Posted on 12/18/19 at 1:47 pm to Drizzt
Drizzt I’m with you that it’s overall an outstanding class.
But it would have been better if the staff hadn’t chased out of state uncertainties at the expense of solid in state commits.

Every single year big programs try to go out west or out of state to recruit. Every year they get burned by people staying home. We haven’t ever recruited nationally like this before. We recruit mostly in Louisiana and Texas. The more national you get, the more you get burned by people staying home. That’s just part of it.

lol shut your mouth.
I agree...it's a great class. It could have been better. If you think that processing great committed players in hopes to get slightly better players is smart..not sure what else to say but good luck?
frick outta here with the fairweather fan thing

i feel for these two kids and processing them has taken some of the shine off LSU.
thought it was a bad mistake when it happened, regardless of who we may have been getting.
reason i'll never be a big 0 supporter. he'll always be a used car salesman that needs high end help with the actual football part of football.
he's good at the effeminate parts of an organization, sales and control.
