Ravens are the final team on the waiver list... so if Suggs had fallen all the way to the Ravens at #32... they would've just let him become a free agent and then negotiated a new contract with him since I guess there was mutual interest between the 2 sides

Actually, we only take on the remaining portion of his contract. Which would be all of 2020 and the last 2 weeks of 2019. I think it was about $500k per game.

He is actually pretty damn good. He is a project kid literally, signed with Georgia or someone and failed out or got kicked off the team got his shite together and graduated from Jacksonville State (I think). I meet him at Senior Bowl and he was a yes sir no sir kid that was on his best behavior. Had a good week and I thought a good career so far

Maybe that’s where he got booted. I know he was injured one year. I liked the kid, he will not be a lockerroom problem. Was he in senior bowl same year as Cameron Jordan? Maybe Cameron vouched for him ?
