We have the tiebreaker over Green Gay?
Edit: I’m a homosexual. I didn’t read the OP’s line above the link, only the title of the thread.

the scenario that would be absolutely amaze-balls
Saints win tomorrow vs. Colts
Rams beat 49ers on Saturday
Saints beat Titans Sunday
Cardinals upset Seahawks in Seattle
Vikings beat the Packers Monday night
that should AT LEAST clinch a 1st round bye... maybe not HFA quite yet... but at least a bye

Yeah that would be bonkers, the crazy thing is it isn’t that far fetched.
The cardinals played the 49ers close in both games and looked good today destroying the browns. And the hawks are always in close games, I could see it.
Only thing I can’t see is the rams beating niners based on the way they looked today, and the fact I don’t see SF losing two games in a row. But it’s a division matchup anything can happen

We don't need all that..
Saints win out
Vikings beat Packers
Seahawks beat 49ers
Saints get home field

Saints get home field

unfortunately I don't see the Cardinals winning in Seattle... but 1 can hope
I hope the Rams play like a team that knows their playoff dreams are on the brink and not like a team that believes their playoff dreams are already dead
fortunately the Rams game is Saturday and the Vikings game is Monday... so the Rams won't be concerned about whether the team ahead of them in the hunt for the 6 seed is winning or losing

I was desperately looking for a scenario where HFA is clinched week 16 and we can sit players for week 17
unfortunately I don't think it exists

The Rams did take a beating in Dallas today
Maybe they’ll be looking for revenge this coming week.
But I do really enjoy watching them lose.

The game that decides our fate is GB and Minnesota. We’ll know mostly everything by the end of next week

I believe the correct name is “The Packers of Green Bay.”

Would rather the cardinals lose to Seattle in that scenario, that locks up the west for Seattle no matter the Sea/SanFran week 17 game...

The Titans are balling and we have to go there. That is the 1 game of the last 3 that concerns me.

And Minnesota is going to be extremely motivated because they have a shot at the division AND still have the Rams that can pass them.

Actually we want them to win that one.
That way whoever loses out of the 9ers/Seahawks in their game we'll hopefully be up on both, but if not than we'd rather make sure the Seahawks win the division.

Let’s get past tonight
Would be a total Saints move to blow this one right after the.... (checks notes).... Falcons?! Beat the 49ers

The 49ers still control their own destiny for the #1 Seed in the NFC.
They just have to win their last two games...which won't be easy.
We have to win out...which will be tough and certainly need the Seahawks to beat the 49ers if the Rams cannot to get a coveted 1st round bye.
It will be icing on the cake if the Vikings can beat the Packers in Minneapolis which I think will occur for us to lock up the #1 seed.
