Not to be the bearer of bad news but....
That looks like heart pine studs to me. Termites really don't like to chew on heart pine. But they will trail through the studs looking for greener pastures, usually in your ceiling are on a headers. I have seen quite a few houses that would have a half eaten stud or two and then have massive damage 50 feet away. Better check everything.
